When he is not at work, Dr. Chen loves to spend time with his family. They enjoy cooking, eating, playing guitar, quiet evenings at home, exploring the outdoors, photography, and fellowship/teaching at their church, Trinity Church in North Olmsted. He also leads the Northeast Ohio Christian Medical and Dental Association and does a weekly radio interview with Moody Radio WCRF 103.3 FM at 6:30 AM on Tuesdays.

When not at work, Dr. Lane focuses on her wonderful husband and three daughters. She loves spending quality time with her family, going to church, enjoying all types of sports, exercising, music, traveling, and art.
